🇵🇸 NEXT CAFÉ: Ramadan Fundraiser Launch by @giving4gaza

Giving For Gaza is a Palestinian-led, grassroots mutual aid initiative that provides people in Gaza with essentials they need to survive; food parcels, clothes and hot meals.

Join us at February’s Dalston Solidarity Café for the launch of their next campaign, fundraising to support people in Gaza through Ramadan.

The goal is of their fundraiser is:
📦 200 food parcels
🍲 200 hot meals
👕 200 children clothed

📅 14th February
⏰ 2-8pm
📍 Halk Evi (E8 3DF - use this postcode as the full address can take you around the corner!)

From 2pm onwards we’ll have:

🪁 Kite making
🎨 Stalls and henna!
🍲 Pay-what-you-can’ food & drinks
📚 Infoshop: zines, posters, stickers & more
♻️ Radical book swap & giveaway
👕 Free shop & clothes swap
⚧️ Free binders donated by @genderswap_

👩🏽‍🍳 As always, we always need more hands. If you would like to get involved on the day, we start cooking from 11am - the more the merrier! Bring along food that would otherwise go to waste and get in touch if you have a food link up for us ❤️‍🔥

♿️Accessibility info: The space is wheelchair accessible (through
Tyssen Street entrance).

Whilst we encourage masking, due to the nature of an eating and drinking space, we cannot guarantee people will be masked. Whilst there is not a designated quiet room, if you are overwhelmed please speak to one of the cook/organisers and we can find a quiet part of the building for you!
